As it gently positioned each feather into place with its powerful beak, I was in awe by both the strength and vulnerability that this northern gannet depicted. Weathering the unpredictable climate of the high sea, northern gannets survive in the most challenging environments. Stepping into this seabird’s evening ritual, however, unveiled a different perspective: a serene moment of survival in the wild.
